Heavenly Father,
You have given us the model of life in the Holy Family of Nazareth. Help us, O Loving Father, to make our family another Nazareth where love, peace, and joy reign. May it be deeply contemplative, intensely eucharistic, revived with joy.
Help us to stay together in joy and sorrow in family prayer. Teach us to see Jesus in the members of our families, especially in their distressing disguise. May the eucharistic heart of Jesus make our hearts humble like his and help us to carry out our family duties in a holy way. May we love one another as God loves each one of us, more and more each day, and forgive each other’s faults as you forgive our sins. Help us, O Loving Father, to take whatever you give and give whatever you take with a big smile.

Dear God,
I praise you for being great, good, and loving!
Please comfort Edna in the loss of her sister. Please put your strong arms around her and remind her of your care, giving her grace to make it through the funeral tomorrow.
Please be with Kari as she recovers from the appendectomy. Her four boys may have trouble dealing with life without her involvement for a few weeks, so I ask that you give them patience. May they help each other.
Kristie is another woman I bring before you and ask you to please cover her family with your strength and presence. Teach them your ways and help them to follow you closely, learning from you how to be like Jesus.

Thank you for giving Edna your peace and letting her feel your presence!
Thank you that Kari is feeling well and is cheerful.
Please continue to bless the Campbells with health.
Our church is very concerned about Jeff’s back and his family. Please help him deal with the chronic pain and the upcoming surgery. Please grant him complete recovery. He needs your touch to meet his needs and I ask that you grant him all he requires for your glory.
We are also counting on you to help Carol with her broken ankle. Please help that thing to heal and not require surgery.
Please bless Steve, Thelma’s son. He is precious to you, as we all are. Please help his children deal with their dad being in the hospital. Remind them all that life is fragile and you hold our days in your hands. You are life. You are peace.
