Daniella and the Slushie

While we were at the Zoo last week Daniella wanted a Slushie. I try not to buy anything extra when we go out, so when I agreed the kids were happy! I even went back to buy popcorn. While I stood in line, Bethany came and compassionately said Daniella spilled the Slushie. [...]

Today at the Zoo

Since it’s Spring Break I took the kids to the Knoxville Zoo!! We had a GREAT time!
Aaron’s favorite animal was the Rosette Spoonbill from Central America because its bill truly looked like a spoon.

Daniella’s favorite was petting two baby camels and a huge bullfrog.

Why Easter is Early this Year

Idi-Odyssey

We’ve had a two month break and now it’s Play-Time again!  The local theatre had auditions for a mostly middle school cast of a one hour + play about Homer’s epic poem, The Odyssey.  Aaron went to auditions to sign up to work the lights and Daniella couldn’t help but audition also!  Then Bethany decided [...]

St. Valentine

Bethany asked, “Why do we celebrate Valentine’s Day?” I said it’s because God loves us, but there is more to it. Here is the beginning history of the holiday:
“Legend has it that Valentine was a priest who served during third century Rome. There was an Emperor at that time by the name [...]
